All sessions will take place during the golden hour just before sunset. Location will be at Sylvan Springs Park, and will last approximately 20 minutes. Mini Sessions are for immediate families up to 6 people only.

Experience
I want to make this experience as easy and stress free as possible for you. So the first thing we'll do after your session is booked is complete a brief questionnaire. This is simply for me to get to know you better and be able to start planning your session. Next is where the fun begins! I'll contact you via text, email, or phone call and we'll discuss any special details for your session. We'll discuss outfits and what you'll wear. I can offer lots of suggestions and provide sample ideas and shopping links if desired. The only thing left for you to do now is show up dressed and ready to go. I'll guide you from here with lots of fun prompts, games, and poses that are sure to get the most genuine and beautiful smiles from you and your family. I will work very quickly to pose/arrange your family all while still paying attention to details like clothing, hair, and facial expressions. I want to give you as many combinations and varaiety of poses as we can in our 20 minutes. You can expect around 25-30 images to view from this session, although I do tend to take more depending on willing participants in your party ;-). After the session you will get an email from me with a link to your password protected online gallery. This is where the fun really starts and you get to view, order prints, and download your included images any additional digital purchases. Once your order is placed digital images are delivered immediately and prints, framed art, or canvases are delivered in about 2-3 weeks. That's it, super fun and easy!

Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I can remember getting my very first camera when I was about 10 years old. It was an old 110mm camera and had actual bulb flashes that you had to replace every time you used the flash! Seems like ages ago! I got serious about photography in High School and continued with a college degree in Fine Arts majoring in Photography. It's been 26 years since I first started my photography career. Ok, now I feel old Haha!
Q: How many images will I get with my session?
A: You will receive 8 hand edited images (chosen from your proofing gallery). Once you have viewed your gallery you will have the opportunity to add more digital images, prints, wall art, or even upgrade to a full collection if you like.
Q: How long will our session last?
A: For the Mini Sessions it will only take around 20 minutes. These sessions are limited and intended for immediate family only. Full Sessions are available for Seniors, and Extended Families. Just send me a quick email and we can chat about those.
Q: How do we choose the location?
A: Once your session is booked with me I will send you a brief questionnaire that helps me get to know you, gives me some direction for the vision of your session, and helps me narrow down some ideas. Your location will be chosen by me an will be within 20-30 minutes of 63129.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use a Canon 6D with prime lenses. I have a small suitcase of extra lenses, camera body, and lots of extra SD cards that I bring to every shoot. You never have to worry if my equipment will fail because I'm always prepared with way more than I need. This is where my 26 years of experience kicks in!
Q: Do you offer any Wall Art, prints, canvases, etc?
A: Totally! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional session retainer fees are due at the time of booking (within a week) and the final Payment is due 3 days prior to your session day. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/3's if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: what happens if you get sick, injured, or have an emergency?
In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, I will make my best effort to reschedule for a date that works for both of us in the most timely manner I can. If that is not an option for you I do have colleagues who photograph and edit in my style that I can call on. That said, in the 25+ years I've been doing this, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.
Q: How do I book you for my photo session?
A: Love that question the most! To book me as your photographer simply click the "I'm ready, Let's Book" button, select a date, and pay your retainer fee. Within 24 hours of payment receipt I will send you a contract and a quick questionnaire to fill out and that's it, you'll officially be booked with me. Super easy!
